Barone’s of Glen Ellyn
Our parents, Scott and Connie, were the first to open up a Barone’s franchise with Nick Barone back in 1971. They began as a humble store front with two employees and one delivery driver. What this small carry-out joint lacked in size it more than made up for in flavor. It wasn’t long before neighbors began lining up around the block for Barone’s pizza.
Many years later, several awards later, and hundreds of thousands of pizzas later, Barone’s of Glen Ellyn has grown to over 40 employees, 10 drivers and seats over 130 people in two dining rooms.
We are still family owned—my sister, Dena, and I now run the day to day operations with the help of our children. No need to worry; though, we still carry on the values Scott and Connie started the business with.

We begin everyday preparing our fresh sauces, dough, pastas, hand-formed meatballs, soups, dressings and homemade desserts, following all of the original recipes.
Barone’s pizzas are made from scratch. We roll our dough, spread the sauce, blend our cheeses and top it off with fresh ingredients like our homemade seasoned sausage. We know your taste buds will agree.
When you dine at Barone’s of Glen Ellyn, you are treated like one of the family. Our friendly staff is happy to help you select a tasty appetizer or recommend the perfect glass of wine (or craft beer, if that is your thing) to compliment your meal. We strive to make your Barone’s experience a memorable one.
Our parents were always committed to quality and service. It’s instilled in us. However, it was their dedication, support and generosity towards the community that truly inspired us.
Over the years we have provided help to the local schools, churches, city organizations, sports teams, PTA groups and families. We help when we can, one pizza pie at a time. Check out our Community page for more information.
